Kayleen Parr - Autorised Celebrant

As an authorised and professionally trained Civil Celebrant, appointed by the Australian Federal Department of the Attorney General, I design all types of ceremonies and conduct celebrations Australia wide, albeit mainly in Adelaide and across the Fleurieu Peninsular in South Australia, offering individually designed traditional, contemporary, elaborate or simple ceremonies for all occasions.

Over the aeons ceremony has played a key role at times of major significance in people's lives, and within the societal fabric of all cultures. From the time one is born values, customs, myths and beliefs, give culture, and the lives lived within such, structure and meaning; meaning often expressed through ceremony and ritual.

Ceremony, of any expression, is not just about 'a day'; it involves ongoing commitment usually based upon a deeply embedded sense of the life essence at the heart of that being expressed. To create a ceremony that honors the occasion being expressed requires deep thought and understanding in order that tribute can be paid to the ceremonial occasion overall.

Ceremony itself pays tribute to both societal and human need; it plays many roles. Ceremony can bring about closure whilst at the same time give birth to the new. Ceremony can connect and unite, add meaning and purpose, pay homage to hopes and ideals, touch one into the timeless essence spun and woven through such into the tapestry of both community and culture, willing the good into all facets of life.

Dear Kayleen, Thank you so much for your dedication and attention to detail for our ceremony.
We were really happy with how it all went and will certainly be recommending you for anyone that needs your services.
Yours truly,
Cathy and Brett

As a Civil Celebrant I delight in developing and presenting the beauty of ceremony, undertaking to both honor and understand the spirituality of any ritual and symbolism requested, to perform such both respectfully and meaningfully. Just as my own commitment, where marriage is concerned, is to support sincerely the sanctity of the Act of Marriage, my commitment to preserving the need for celebrating the broad range of events that make up human life within the societal fabric, of both community and culture, is just as sincere.

I am a member of The Association of Civil Marriage Celebrants of SA (Inc.). I hold Competency Title Certification in Life Celebrations; Competency Title Certification in Planning, Conducting and Reviewing Marriage Ceremony; Competency Title Certification if Identifying and Addressing Specific Client Needs together with Working Within the Administration Protocols of Ceremonial Organization; Certificate IV in Small Business Management; Certificate IV in Marriage Celebrancy; all education undertaken through the Academy of Celebrancy Australia.

A warm and friendly, professional approach, one that can be relied on and trusted, are the qualities I take pride in and work always to see reflected in all that I undertake.

Dear Kayleen - Thank you very much for being our celebrant and making our wedding ceremony just perfect.
It was all that we hoped for and had such a great time.
You made us both feel so calm on the day and we will remember the moment we were announced Mr. and Mrs. for the rest of our lives.
Love Tim and Erin
